Una recente installazione presso un importante birrificio britannico vede protagonista ALline C, una macchina etichettatrice lineare capace di applicare etichette a 180 lattine al minuto – pari a 10.000 unità l’ora, escludendo i tempi tecnici per il cambio rotolo. Il sistema è dotato di un sensore intelligente che regola un distanziatore a coclea, garantendo flussi costanti e massima precisione anche alle alte velocità.
Il cuore del sistema è la testata ALritma X, progettata per offrire un’autonomia superiore grazie al portarotolo da 400 mm e al riavvolgitore potenziato per la carta siliconata. Questa configurazione consente di raddoppiare l’autonomia operativa rispetto a una macchina standard, riducendo al minimo i fermi per il cambio etichette.
La gestione del processo è affidata a un PLC con interfaccia touch screen da 7”, capace di memorizzare fino a 100 ricette. Gli elementi meccanici della macchina, facilmente regolabili con viti e volantini dotati di contagiri digitali, permettono cambi formato rapidi e ripetibili, ottimizzando i tempi di produzione.

ALTECH labelling in the craft beer industry
The craft beer market is experiencing strong and sustained growth, pushing producers to adopt increasingly high-performance solutions. ALTECH, a company specialised in industrial labelling systems, is proud to support this evolution with advanced and reliable technology.
A recent installation at a leading UK brewery features the ALline C labelling machine, capable of applying labels at 180 cans per minute – that’s 10,000 units per hour, excluding reel change downtime. The system includes a smart sensor that controls a screw spacing device, ensuring consistent product flow and high-speed precision.
At the heart of the system is the ALritma X labelling head, designed to deliver extended operating autonomy. Thanks to a 400 mm label reel holder and an enlarged liner rewinder, the unit offers nearly double the runtime of a standard labeller, significantly reducing line stops for reel changes.
The process is managed by a PLC with a 7” touchscreen interface, capable of storing up to 100 labelling recipes. Machine components are easily adjustable via screws and handwheels, each fitted with digital position counters. These values can also be stored in the recipes, allowing for fast and repeatable format changes.
