Grazie alla loro robustezza e al design innovativo possono essere combinati tra loro in numero illimitato per realizzare il passaggio cavi attraverso pareti di qualsiasi spessore. Per una maggiore flessibilità e una riduzione dei codici gestiti, il manicotto filettato integra dei punti di taglio per poter essere accorciato a seconda delle proprie necessità.
Uno dei vantaggi principali di questa soluzione è quello di mantenere invariato il grado di protezione IP garantito dal pressacavo divisibile o dal supporto passacavo tondo.

Icotek cable entry systems and cable glands with a metric thread are screwed with a counter nut during assembly. If the thread lengths are not sufficient, for example when mounting on sandwich panels or thick concrete walls, icotek now offers the solution: the icotek thread extensions!
The icotek thread extensions is available in two sizes (M32, M50) and in three lengths (35 mm, 60 mm, 120 mm). These can be flexibly combined with each another. Due to their stable construction, almost any number of thread extensions can be screwed together. The lengths can also be easily shortened at the designated points.
A particular benefit of this solution is that the IP protection of the cable gland or cable entry plate used remains in place. The thread extension thus offers a variety of possible applications for a wide range of industries and areas of application: including the construction industry, building technology, caravans, clean rooms and many more. Due to the costruction of Polyamide, the fire class of UL94-V0 is achieved, the thread extensions are self-extinguishing and offer a temperature range of -40°C to 140°C.
