INOX MECCANICA Spa on Asiatic Edition

For over forty years, Inox Meccanica has been designing and manufacturing machinery for the industrial processing of meat, based in Solarolo di Goito, at the heart of the salumeria district linking Mantova, Bologna and Parma. It is in this territory — among the densest in the world for norcino know-how and the production of DOP and IGP salumi — that the company has built up technical expertise alongside salumifici themselves, gaining a deep understanding of their production cycles, department-level challenges, and requirements for yield and organoleptic consistency.

Today, Inox Meccanica develops two complementary product lines. The first is dedicated to the industrial processing of meat for the salumificio: automatic and semi-automatic stuffing machines for whole muscle cuts, automatic casing and net loading systems, automatic stick loaders, tying machines, and tumblers for vacuum tumbling. The second line covers industrial washing and sanitation systems — a cross-sector technology that the company applies not only to the meat sector but also to dairy, pet food, pharmaceutical, pasta, confectionery, fish and poultry: mould washers, trolley washers and salumi washers, in cabinet or tunnel configurations, designed to guarantee the hygiene levels required by HACCP, IFS Food, BRC and FSSC 22000.

This approach has allowed Inox Meccanica to move beyond the domestic market alone, bringing its technology to salumifici and industrial operators across Europe, North and South America, Asia, Oceania and other international markets, supported by a network of agents and distributors who represent its technical positioning with local operators.

Within the stuffing machine range, the PIC 99 series is the benchmark for pressing, forming, clipping and stuffing whole muscle cuts — prosciutto, bresaola, lonza, coppa, punta d’anca, pancetta, lomo ibérico — with the PIC 99 BCE variant introducing an electric pusher, electric press, automatic tube change and a loading conveyor with integrated high-precision load cells, delivering high productivity without compromising the artisanal quality of the product. The brand-new P800 N completes the offering with a semi-automatic press for whole muscle cuts in casing, net, calza and Nutrafilm®. Supporting the stuffing department, the SE-C and SE-N automatic loader series handle casing and net respectively — the latter with an integrated metre-counting system — while the Stick Loader automatic stick loader and the TM200 V tying machine complete the line through to the cell. The CLXP 260 automatic clipper applies casing and elastic net simultaneously, with the option of combining edible film, while the CLP 1T offers a semi-automatic solution that can also be configured with automatic hanging loop insertion: a machine range designed to guarantee line continuity from stuffing through to net packaging and stick loading, reducing the manual variables that affect weight loss, mould development and inter-batch uniformity. The machinery range has been recently expanded with the introduction of the newly launched automatic peeling machine, unveiled to the public for the first time at Cibus Tec in Parma. Designed to meet the growing demand for automation and production continuity in packaging departments, the machine fits into integrated production lines, cutting downtime, manual intervention and contamination risks. A technology set to get the industry talking and to quickly become a benchmark for the entire cured meat sector.

On the tumbling side, the BT-C and BT-S tumbler ranges, available from 500 to 4,500 kg capacity, apply the principle of vacuum tumbling to ensure homogeneous brine penetration, protein binding and consistent cooking yield batch after batch, thanks to integrated load cells that verify weight in real time and prevent overload. The BT-S, dedicated to products destined for curing, integrates the patented osmotic extraction hatch, while technologies such as direct drum refrigeration, accelerated thawing in a controlled environment and in-drum smoking with a friction generator extend the versatility of a single multifunctional technology platform, built in AISI 304/316 and designed without stagnation points to facilitate CIP cycles.

Overseeing the machine fleet and recipes is SYSTEM X, a web-based SCADA platform running on a Siemens PLC and Beckhoff industrial PC architecture, capable of supervising up to 20 tumblers simultaneously with 50 recipes of 25 phases each, multi-client browser access, role-based user management and full process traceability.

Inox Meccanica does not position itself as a simple machinery supplier, but as a technology partner to salumifici and multi-sector industrial operators alike: a partner able to combine engineering precision, process hygiene and production continuity, supporting its customers on a growth path built on consistent quality, operational efficiency and process sustainability.
