ESA S.p.A. celebra 50 anni di storia pubblicando il suo primo Bilancio di Sostenibilità: innovazione e responsabilità per il futuro dell’automazione
Nell’anno del suo 50° anniversario, ESA S.p.A., storica azienda italiana e punto di riferimento internazionale nel settore dell’automazione industriale, annuncia la pubblicazione del suo primo Bilancio di Sostenibilità.
Il documento, che rendiconta le performance e le strategie ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) relative all’anno fiscale 2024, rappresenta un passaggio cruciale nella storia dell’azienda fondata nel 1975. Non si tratta solo di un adempimento formale, ma della naturale evoluzione di un percorso che vede l’innovazione tecnologica procedere di pari passo con la responsabilità sociale e ambientale.
“Nell’anno del cinquantesimo anniversario di ESA, sono felice di condividere questo traguardo,” dichiara Mario Colombo, Presidente di ESA S.p.A. “Ho fondato questa azienda a 21 anni insieme a tre amici. I punti chiave del Bilancio di Sostenibilità
Il report evidenzia come la sostenibilità sia integrata nel modello di business di ESA, basato su quattro sedi operative in Italia e una presenza globale con oltre 130 dipendenti. Tra i temi materiali emersi:
Innovazione Green: Lo sviluppo di soluzioni hardware e software (HMI, CNC, Motion Control, Robotica) progettate non solo per l’efficienza produttiva, ma per favorire il risparmio energetico e la riduzione degli sprechi nei processi industriali dei clienti.
Gestione Ambientale: L’impegno diretto nella riduzione dei consumi energetici, supportato dall’installazione di impianti fotovoltaici nell’Headquarters e da un rigoroso monitoraggio dei rifiuti tramite il Registro Interno (RIMR).
Persone e Sicurezza: Con un organico in crescita (+10,8% nel quadriennio 2020-2024), ESA pone al centro la sicurezza sul lavoro con l’adozione del sistema SGSSL (Sistema di Gestione della Salute e Sicurezza sul Lavoro) e il welfare aziendale, promuovendo formazione continua e inclusione.
Governance e Territorio: La solidità aziendale è garantita dall’adozione del Modello 231 e del Codice Etico, oltre che da un forte legame con la comunità locale attraverso il sostegno a progetti sociali e formativi.
