Dall’automazione al software-defined manufacturing, passando per intelligenza artificiale, physical AI e cybersecurity: le tecnologie che definiscono le nuove prospettive del manifatturiero
Si è chiusa a Parma la quattordicesima edizione di SPS Italia, appuntamento di riferimento per l’innovazione nel mondo produttivo. Con 720 espositori e 37.528 presenze, in crescita rispetto al 2025, la manifestazione è stata vetrina delle tecnologie più avanzate, offrendo una visione concreta di come evolverà l’industria nei prossimi anni. Dal 26 al 28 maggio i visitatori hanno potuto osservare da vicino robot umanoidi in azione, applicazioni di Intelligenza Artificiale e Physical AI, insieme a soluzioni per lo smart manufacturing orientate a una produzione sempre più efficiente, digitale e sostenibile.
Il progetto Academy ha visto il coinvolgimento di oltre 4.000 studenti, protagonisti di numerose iniziative, tra cui “Lezioni in Fiera”, la finale nazionale della NAO Challenge – promossa da Scuola di Robotica – e il Robotics Makeathon organizzato in collaborazione con ITQ GmbH.

SPS Italia 2026, a successful edition for industry that innovates
From automation to software-defined manufacturing, via artificial intelligence, physical AI and cybersecurity: The technologies shaping the future of manufacturing
SPS Italia, leading event for innovation in the manufacturing sector, has just closed its 14th edition in Parma, recording 720 exhibitors and 37,528 visitors – an increase on 2025; it emerged again as a showcase for the most advanced technologies, offering a concrete vision of how the industry will evolve in the years to come. From 26 to 28 May, visitors could see humanoid robots in action, applications of Artificial Intelligence and Physical AI, as well as smart manufacturing solutions aimed at increasingly efficient, digital and sustainable production.
The Academy project involved more than 4,000 students, the protagonists of many initiatives, such as “Lessons at the Fair”, the national final of the NAO Challenge – organised by Scuola di Robotica – and the Robotics Makeathon organised in collaboration with ITQ GmbH.
