• Mantenendo l’impiego di valvole senza contatto tra valvola e bottiglia (contactless), il corpo valvola è stato ri-progettato con sviluppo verticale, al fine di migliorare il flusso del liquido e ridurre le zone morte;
• Riduzione del numero di guarnizioni interne alla stazione di riempimento, che garantisce maggiore igiene ed una manutenzione ridotta e semplificata;
• Miglioramento del design dei componenti del circuito prodotto e CIP al fine di garantire una maggiore lavabilità;
• Superfici inclinate per evitare il ristagno dei liquidi, l’assenza di fessure o angoli vivi in cui possano annidarsi batteri. Realizzazione delle saldature a regola d’arte;
• Certificazione MOCA di gomme e plastiche a contatto con il liquido da imbottigliare;
• Rimozione di parte dei tralicci inferiori del telaio e delle canale elettriche presenti nella parte inferiore dello stesso, che sono state sostituiti dal passaggio dei cavi all’interno dei tubolari, lasciando libera la sezione inferiore della struttura e contribuendo a migliorare l’accesso per l’operatore alle zone di manutenzione (collettore prodotto/CIP e trasmissioni);
• L’accesso alla stazione di riempimento è stato migliorato nell’ottica di semplificare la gestione e la manutenzione della macchina. Ad esempio, il flussimetro viene montato direttamente sulla valvola con il grande vantaggio di semplificare e ridurre notevolmente il tempo per le operazioni di smontaggio della stessa;
In particolare:
• Il nuovo rubinetto di riempimento permette di gestire due velocità del flusso in modo da avere un riempimento omogeneo, efficiente e senza perdita di prodotto;
• La durata delle fasi di riempimento (lenta e veloce) può essere facilmente impostabile direttamente dallo schermo HMI e dalle ricette di riempimento;
• Il telaio ha una configurazione estremamente compatta con un ingombro ridotto, progettato per massimizzare la produzione industriale in uno spazio operativo minimo;
• Le ridotte dimensioni complessive rendono più efficiente ed economica l’installazione e il trasporto dell’impianto;
• I nuovi rubinetti sono stati riprogettati con l’impiego di otturatori di nuova realizzazione; una soluzione che garantisce maggiore durabilità;
• La falsa bottiglia automatica (disponibile come optional) è fissata al supporto del rubinetto e garantisce una maggiore stabilità, facilita e riduce le operazioni di manutenzione;
• Il telaio saldato della riempitrice è interamente realizzato in acciaio inox AISI 304, senza parti in ferro; l’acciaio garantisce maggiore durabilità ed è particolarmente adatto per prodotti “aggressivi”;
Hygiene, efficiency and productivity
Here is ENOBERG new HEVFe range of monoblocs for filling and capping liquids, available in stand-alone version or combined with the stretch-blow moulders by SMI
The liquid filling machine market is strongly driven by the demand for packaging consumer goods, which is constantly growing. In response to this trend, there has been an increase in investments made by beverage manufacturers in more and more efficient solutions that ensure high production volumes, meet the hygiene protocols and secure economic benefits.
Starting from an analysis of these topics and taking into account the existing and potential customers’ requirements, ENOBERG designers have updated the existing HEVF range developing the new HEVFe series of monoblocs for filling and capping liquids, available in stand-alone version or combined with the EBS ERGON stretch-blow moulders by SMI.
The new HEVFe series adopts advanced technologies that meet the following requests:
1) compliance with the machine detailed hygiene and washability protocolos;
2) simplification of the operators’ activities, offering great accessibility to the system;
3) guarantee of high levels of efficiency and productivity;
4) higher machine durability, cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
1) Hygiene and washability
The adopted solutions focus on the change of some details aimed at ensuring better sanitization and accessibility to the machine critical areas and on the reduction of microbiological contamination risks.
The design benefits that have been considered to achieve these objectives are:
• While maintaining the use of contactless valves (no contact between the valve and the bottle), the valve body has been redesigned with vertical development, in order to improve the liquid flow and reduce the dead zones;
• Reduction in the number of gaskets within the filling station, which ensures a higher level of hygiene and reduced and simplified maintenance;
• Improvement in the design of the components of the product circuit and CIP in order to improve the washability;
• Inclined surfaces to avoid liquid retention, absence of splits or sharp corners in which bacteria can settle and properly made welds;
• MOCA certifications of rubbers and plastics in contact with the liquid to be bottled;
• Parts in contact with the product made in AISI 316 L.
2) High accessibility to the system operation and maintenance areas
The compactness, typical of the previous HEVF range, has been further improved in order to simplify the activities for the machine user, ensuring at the same time high safety levels.
These objectives have been achieved by adopting technical improvements, such as:
• Removal of a part of the lower frame trellises and of the electric ducts positioned in the lower part of the frame that have been replaced with the cable bushings within the tubes, leaving the structure lower section free and contributing to improve the access to the maintenance area (product manifold/CIP and transmissions) for the operator;
• The access to the filling station has been improved in order to simplify the machine management and maintenance. For instance, the flow meter is mounted directly on the valve with the great advantage of considerably simplifying and reducing the time for the unmount operation;
• Thanks to the vertical development of the valve and the new design of the dummy bottle, the access to the valve components subject to maintenance has significantly been improved.
3) Higher efficiency and productivity
The HEVFe filling and capping systems by ENOBERG have been designed to ensure high production efficiency. In particular:
• The new filling valve enables managing two flow speeds in order to get a homogeneous and efficient filling operation, with no product loss;
• The setting of the filling phases (slow and fast) can be easily set directly from the HMI display from the filling recipe;
• The frame has an extremely compact configuration with a reduced footprint, designed to maximize industrial production in a minimum operational space;
• The reduced overall dimensions make the system installation and transport more efficient and cost-effective;
• The new series is available with the optional accessory to handle flat and sport caps through a single orienting device; an advantageous solution in terms of reduced size, easy system access and fast format changeover.
4) Durability, cost-effectiveness and sustainability
One of the main market drivers is the increased emphasis in the durability of machine components and environmental process sustainability that drives beverage manufacturers to use energy-saving bottling solutions.
The design benefits to achieve these objectives are:
• The new filling valves have been redesigned with the use of newly built shutters; a solution which ensures higher durability;
• The automatic dummy bottle (available as an option) is fixed to the support of the filling valve and guarantees a higher stability, simplifies and reduce the maintenance operation time;
• The filler welded frame is fully made of AISI 304 stainless steel without iron parts; the steel guarantees higher durability and is particularly suitable for aggressive products;
• The filling valves and the steel parts in contact with the product are made of AISI 316L stainless steel; this is an optimal solution for the machines designed for the beverage and food industry thanks to the resistance to corrosive and acid products.
